Start with the Level 1 Beginner Damp Surveyor course online to build the foundations, then train face to face on the 3-day Certified Damp Surveyor classroom course (FODCS) and the hands-on Certified Damp Proofing Technician day (FODCT) — both City & Guilds Assured. Finish with the Leak Detection course, adding the specialism behind some of the most-requested and best-paid call-outs in the trade. Four courses, one structured journey: understand damp, diagnose it to a certified standard, carry out the remedial work, and trace the leaks others can’t find. Certified, you’re eligible to apply for Federation of Damp membership and a listing on the public Find a Specialist register.
