Record your inspection, explain your findings and produce a professional PDF with your own branding. Add a floor plan, then turn the recommended works into a quotation without starting again.

Draw the layout
Sketch rooms and walls or adapt a starter template. Add doors, windows and other useful symbols.
Mark the findings
Place numbered defects, readings and treatment runs. Match the plan to the written inspection findings.
Include it in the PDF
Save the plan into your report. Its drawing key and notes travel with the document so the customer has the context.
Plans are indicative and not to scale. Confirm measurements, access and any treatment specifications on site.
One customer. One clear document.
Send the survey and quotation separately, or download them together as one PDF—with the report first and your itemised quotation afterwards.
1. Save the survey
Complete the quality check, review the preview and save the latest version to your account.
2. Build the quote
Import the saved survey’s customer, property and recommended works. Add your own quantities, prices and terms.
3. Download together
Choose Report + quote PDF. The tool checks matching customer details and uses the latest saved survey, including its floor plan.
Independent reports marked “no works quoted” remain separate. FOD does not set or recommend your prices.

A draft is saved on the device you are using. Photo storage is limited; keep your original photographs.
Saved to your account
Use Save report to my account and wait for confirmation. Reopen the report from My Reports on another device.
Ready for your customer
Review the finished PDF, download it and send it yourself. Downloading a PDF does not email the customer.
An internet connection is needed for account saves and online features. This is not an offline app.
Questions before you start
Is the report builder included in membership?
Yes. Access is included for active, approved members, subject to your account’s membership and approval status.
Can I use it on site?
You can enter findings, readings and photographs in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer. Save to your account regularly and check the confirmation before leaving the page.
Do I have to include a quotation?
No. You can download a survey report on its own. The combined option is available after linking a saved survey to a quotation with matching customer and property details.
Will the PDF use my latest changes?
The quotation uses the current quote form. The survey uses its latest account save, so save any report changes before creating the combined PDF.
Does the tool write the professional opinion for me?
No. You remain responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, recommendations and final wording. Suggested wording and quality checks help you review the document.
