Be found. Follow up.
Keep enquiries moving.
Help customers discover your approved profile, then manage their enquiries in one straightforward member workspace.
Public enquiries are available through eligible, approved directory listings. Lead numbers and work are not guaranteed.
A clear route from your profile to your next enquiry
Customers can search for a specialist, review a profile and get in touch. You decide how to respond and whether the work is right for you.
Customers find you
Your eligible listing helps customers understand your services, location and approved professional status.
Enquiries reach your Leads page
Read the customer’s message and use the email or call links to start a conversation.
You manage the next step
Update the status, save a private note and set a follow-up date so you know what needs attention.
Less searching. Clearer follow-ups.
Simple tools that help you stay organised, even when you’re busy on site.
Find an enquiry quickly
Search your enquiries and filter by status, from first contact to completed follow-up.
Know what needs attention
See total enquiries, those not contacted, follow-ups due and enquiries you have marked as won.
Keep useful context
Record private notes and a follow-up date alongside each enquiry instead of relying on memory.
You control the status and follow-up date. Clicking an email or call link does not automatically mark a customer as contacted.
Give customers a reason to get in touch
Keep your profile accurate and easy to understand. Explain what you do, where you work and which services you offer.
- Keep your business details and service area current.
- Clearly describe your approved roles and specialisms.
- Respond promptly and explain what happens next.
- Record the outcome so your Leads page stays useful.
Part of your professional workflow
After discussing the customer’s needs, use your member tools to prepare a survey report or build a clear quotation. Your Leads page keeps the enquiry and follow-up organised.
You agree the scope, price and terms directly with the customer. A directory enquiry is an opportunity to discuss a job, not a confirmed booking.
A few useful answers
Does every membership include a public listing?
Directory visibility depends on your membership, approval and profile eligibility. Company and individual membership describe the account type; they do not automatically mean someone is an independent surveyor. Housing Provider accounts are not listed publicly by default.
Are leads or a certain amount of work guaranteed?
No. Enquiries depend on customer demand, location, services and your profile. Membership gives eligible members a way to be found and manage enquiries; it does not guarantee lead numbers, bookings or income.
Where do I check for new enquiries?
Sign in, open your dashboard and choose Leads. New enquiries have an unread indicator. Check this page regularly and keep your follow-up dates and statuses up to date.
Will the system contact customers for me?
You contact the customer using the details provided. Email and call links help you start that conversation; your notes, statuses and follow-up dates help you manage it afterwards.
I’m already a member. What should I do first?
Review your profile details, check your membership and approval are current, then open Leads from your dashboard. If your listing is missing or you need help with access, contact FOD.
Make the next enquiry easier to manage
Explore FOD membership, or head straight to your Leads page if you’re already a member.
