How to apply and become a member

Step 1: Apply For Membership

Complete our Apply for Membership form with your details or your company information. This helps us verify your eligibility and ensure you meet our professional standards.

Step 2: Get Approved

Our membership team will review your application within 5–7 working days. You’ll receive an email once your application is approved and ready to progress to the next stage.

Step 3: Create your account

Once approved, you’ll be invited to create an account on our website. This account gives you access to your member dashboard, where you can manage your profile, membership details, and training courses.

Step 4: Access your dashboard

Log in to your account and head to your Dashboard. From here, you’ll be able to update your profile, view your training progress, and control your membership settings.

Step 5: Choose your membership type

Go to the Membership tab and select the option that best fits you: Individual Membership – for self-employed specialists or sole traders Company Membership – for businesses with more than one team member (Membership is free for the first year. Renewal fees apply thereafter – £199 for individuals and £499 for companies.)

Step 6: Setup Payment

Enter your card details to activate your membership. Once payment is confirmed, your account will be active, and you’ll be ready to complete your profile.

Step 7: Complete Profile

Fill in all profile fields including your contact details, address, company logo, services offered, and qualifications. A fully completed profile helps our team verify your information faster and increases your visibility to potential customers.

Step 8: Get approved to go live

After submitting your profile, our team will review and approve it to appear on our Find a Specialist page. Once live, homeowners and businesses in your area can contact you directly for work.

Step 9: Strengthen your credentials

As a member, you’ll gain access to our exclusive Federation of Damp (FOD) training courses. Complete these specialised certifications to: Win more work against your competitors Demonstrate verified industry knowledge Position your business as the most trusted local expert
