A few things worth knowing
Is the quote builder included with membership?
It is part of the member toolkit for eligible accounts with active membership and the required FOD approval. Compare membership routes or contact FOD if you are unsure which account fits your work.
Do I have to start with a survey report?
No. Start a quotation from scratch, or use the saved-report import to bring across job details and recommended works. You review the scope and enter every price.
How do reports and quotations work together?
Import the job details and recommended works from a saved survey, then review the wording and add your prices. Download the quotation on its own, or combine it with the linked saved report in one PDF. Check the customer and property details match before exporting. Independent advice reports stay separate from quotations.
Will it send the quote or take payment for me?
No. Download the PDF and share it yourself. Record Sent, Accepted or Declined in My Quotes as your customer responds. Customer payment and agreement remain between you and the customer.
Can I use it on a phone or tablet?
The builder is browser-based and includes an on-page guide. For longer quotations, a larger screen makes reviewing item descriptions and terms easier. Always preview the PDF before sending it.
